Yer Cap'n woke up this morning and it be 4 degrees out side Harrrrr. That be so cold luckily I get to sleep in the house untell it is time to run and do chores by that time the temp be higher then 4 Harrrr. The best thing about these cold temps is that yer Cap'n gets to watch TV because I am in the room with the TV Harrrr.

Yer Cap'n be feeding the chickens and duck today with Lisa the Mean and tried to sneak in the chicken house when Lisa the Mean went in Harrrr. It was so much fun Harrrr. Lisa the Mean managed to feed the chickens with out me getting in the house though Harrr. Yer Cap'n even jump on the door to see the chickens but still cant get in. There has to be a trick to get in Yer Cap'n going to think very hard on how to do that.

Yer Cap' n saw that The Animal Rescue Site needs yer help by going to this website www.theanimalrescuesite.com and click the purple box that says Feed an Animal in Need Harrrr. The best thing it be free so all ye have to do is click on it daily and it feeds the dogs in shelters for free Harrrr.

Lisa the Mean returns home tonight. Yer Cap'n going to be glad, that be fer sure. Mom be OK, she feed me, she play with me, she give me cake and treats, she clean the poop deck on good ship Maverick's Run when it need. Harrrr. But Yer Cap'n really like Lisa the Mean better. Mom so interested in Penny right now, that she say the Cap'n as well as a lot of the crew have to stay outside the last two nights. Mom say it warm enough. Harrrr. The Cap'n got to see some Siberians that yer Cap'n has never seen before and we hiked about a mile it be so much fun Mateys sorry some of you where not there. About the pictures of the hike Lisa the Mean took some and they turned out not so good so no pictures Harrrrr. So she sent them to Davy Jones Locker Room Harrrr. I also got a treat form a friend it tasted so good it made up for not getting part of Lisa's Lunch Harrrr.

On other news the Cap'n be watching tv and heard somthing about POTC Box set coming out around December 4th I can not wait Harrrrr. I be jumpin up and down on the Good Ship Mavericks Run to hear the news Harrrrrr.

The other day I was in The Good Ship Mavericks Run with Lisa the Mean and she asked me if I wanted to go on a hike Sunday so The Cap'n said yes Harrrrr. She also told me that it is no ordinary hike it is the Husky hike that the local Siberian Husky club put on about every year Harrrrr. Yer Cap'n be so excited Harrrr! With going to the hike yer Cap'n has to have another bath Harrrr but it be worth it Mateys.

Yer Cap'n be back from his trip to NE Harrrrr. I had so much fun Mom took pictures of me but hasent loaded them in to the computer yet Harrrrr. Today the Cap'n had a bath Harrrrrrrr. Then Lisa the Mean stuffed me in the Red car of Doom and took yer Cap'n to the vet Harrrrrr. At the vets office the Cap'n see some Cats they be part of the CUNIA Mateys they looked at yer Cap'n and Hissed and Stared Harrrrr. Lisa the Mean would not let me get to close to them Harrrr. then yer Cap'n went in the office room and saw DR Cris she said hi Maverick and stuck me with a needle Harrrrr. Yer Cap'n be so brave he didnt even flinch Harrrr. Then she checked my micro chip with a scaner thing and it went bee bee Harrrr. That be very cool mateys.Then we where done and Lisa the Mean was writing the check to pay for the visit and the cats still be there Harrrrr. Then we left and went home.

It has been very bussy around hear Lisa the Mean started school Harrrrrr. The Kansas City dog show was last week and there was even a airplane show Harrrrrr. Where was the Cap'n when all of this was happining Home becouse he hurt Gloria a while back that is so unfair. I did have Eddie tell me all about the dog show and what he saw walking out side when the airplane show was going on. Eddie told me about the airplanes that had painted on teeth and the stelth plane and a war helecopter it just sounded great Harrrrrr.

American Idol tryouts be in Omaha NE last week. I begged and I pleaded and begged some more for Lisa the Mean to take the Cap'n. I be planning try out with a medley of pirate songs including Row Row Row Yer Boat, Yo Ho Yo Ho Its A Pirates Life For Me, Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum, ending with my version of the favorite, I'm Maverick the Pirate Man, all the while standing in my very best Cap'n Morgan pose. Harrrrrr. But Lisa the Mean lived up to her name and said NO! The Cap'n be so crushed Harrrrrr. So I was hoping Matey Holly Bolly Boo go down and tried out. Fer sure she get a Golden Ticket because she so talented and lives right there.

Gloria is next to me in the kennels and she is playing with C.B. insted of The Cap'n Harrrrrr. I get to run by my self now so nothing will happen agin. Mateys, let the Cap'n tell you, it not be as much fun at all. Now I hear that Gloria going to be exercising with CB and not the Cap'n. Well, Mateys that just hurts. So the Cap'n be guilty of snarking, tried and convicted and now being punished. Mom says she don't trust the Cap'n either and now he not be going to the show in Kansas City to hang out either. Cap'n Morgan be having a pose off contest but all the mateys have to be 21 to participate. Harrrr, the Cap'n only 6 years old. But 6 people years is 42 dog years, so the Cap'n be working on his best pose. Lisa the Mean be working with the Cap'n and we try to get a picture of his best pose tomorrow. Today Lisa The Mean was eating left over roast beef Harrrr. She just got done with her roast beef and was cutting up the scraps for the mateys. Crash and boom, she dropped the plate on the floor!! She broke the plate in a thousand pieces Harrrrrrr and our roast beef go with it. So Lisa The Mean threw the whole thing away, roast beef, plate pieces, scraps and all Harrrrrr. It just be an awful thing that happened. Now the Cap'n not get my scraps Harrrrrr.

Lisa the Mean is back in town Harrrrr. The Cap'n be so happy. Lisa the Mean told me all bout her trip to Duluth, Minnesota and what she see there, harrrr. She saw Lake Superior and there be boats and Pirates there, don't cha know. I be there before but the Cap'n didn't get to see all the boats Harrrrr. It also seemed that the Cap'n was the only Pirate there at that time, Harrrr. On other news the Cap'n has a scrape on his face from sticking his head where it didn't belong, Harrrrrr. It be fine and Lisa the Mean take care of so it can heal up fast, Harrrrr. The KC Show is coming up fast too, harrr. It be August 23-26. I hope I get to go all of the days it will be so fun. Now, all you Mateys know the Cap'n doesn't show any more but the shoppin' be great at the KC Shows.

Today Lisa the Mean and Mom are going to a Kennel Club Bar B Q today. Harrr Food, yummm. The catch is there is no doggies allowed. How can they eat food Without dog hair at a Kennel Club Bar B Q? It just don't make sense to your Cap'n Harrrrr. Lisa the Mean is also leaving again to go to a dog show tomorrow and will not be home until next week. then she will be home and leave again Harrrrrr. I cant keep up with her Harrrr. Lisa the Mean is talking about taking the Cap'n to the KC shows, if they have space in the van, so I can see some friends and generally be a pirate on the go. On other News, Naomi is finally showing interest in becoming a Pirate. Yesterday at the show they be giving out free cake. Mom got some after she showed. Naomi was on the lead when Mom got the cake. Naomi jump up and down trying to get some cake but Mom say no and off. Harrr, Naomi just jumped up, hit the bottom of the paper plate, the cake fly off of the paper plate and Naomi ate the cake. Harrrrrrr that is so great. Way to go Naomi. Ye may make a pirate yet girly.

Lisa the Mean is back from Oklahoma thank goodness I was starting to think she was caried away by all the rain there Harrrrrr. They went to Oklahoma for the OKC Summer Clasic the Cap'n whishes he would have gone Harrrr. They took Penny, Stella, Joquin, Naomi to show every body had a great time execpt Naomi becouse she was discusted the hole time. Naomi did tell me she won both her majors at that show that is so cool. Stella told me how cool the parking garage was and how fun it was to be at a Bullmastiff specialty Harrrrr. I look up all the places where the mateys be livin' and where the Nessy be. This be the map the Cap'n comes up with. Now, it seem best to pick up everybody not on the red line in Arooo-ba. That be in the Caribbean Sea Mateys. Then we go on to get the Nessy. OK, we start there on the red X in the middle of the United States and end up in Loch Ness. Cap'n Maverick is all wrapped up in POTC and dancing on the poop deck so I have borrowed his pirate ship for the Nessy quest. Everybody is welcome to join me on my quest to find Nessy. Lisa the Mean is going to St. Louis for the weekend and not taking a dog, harrr, even though she be going to a dog show. Harrr what up with that? How can you go to a dog show with out a dog? It is so hard for the Cap'n to keep up on what she is doing. Lisa the Mean told me she was going to work at the show this week Harrrrr more work. She be showing afghan dogs this time. She be working for a handler BUT she was suposed to sit at home with me. But no she is leaving tomorow HARRRRRR. The Cap'n need to figure out a plan to go with her some time in the future. Harrr Mateys, yer Cap'n Mav be so blowed away by POTC Dead Man's Chest. He be watching it and watching it. That Davey Jones be one bad dude Mateys. Harrr. Oh, and Lisa the Mean and Mom were away at a show and I could not blog for some days. The Cap'n wants everyone to know that he tried to go see POTC III when it open but all the theaters be landlocked mateys and the Good Ship Maverick's Run could not maneuver in. We all keep our fingers crossed for the box set in a couple of months mateys.

Thar be some citing happenings goin on. POTC Dead Man Chest be on STARZ tonight. Harrr. Yer Cap'n is just so cited, his tail be wagging like no tomorrow. Mom and Lisa the Mean bring all us in and we all be lined up to watch, waiting on popcorn and wiggling in our seats. Mateys, this be a great night. STARZ movie channel at 8:00 PM CDT be the place and time.

NO FUR-MINATORS

Fur-Minator!!! Thar be no stinking Fur-Minator here Mateys. Lisa the Mean said that Fur-Minators have blades in them. Harr, show dogs can't be trimmed, so no Fur-Minator for us. Thar be a Specal doggie bath tub in the basement. That makes it easer to take a bath for dog and human. Dogs that be showing get a bath at least once a week. We also have Master Blaster blower that takes our fluff away and it drys us from our baths. It be so powerful it blows the water off our coats. Then mateys, we get to the serious grooming tools and products. You Mateys saw what the Cap'n was standing on, that be a grooming table. The arm thing holds the noose. That sounds grusome but it isnt Harrrrr. It holds us safe on the table so we don't jump off and hurt ourselves. We get brushed with pin brushes and combs. When we are blowing like this we sometimes get the rake. The only Trimming allowed is on the bottom of our fuzzy feet. Harrrr, Mom use the scaler and clean the teeth every week Mateys. We got bright shiny teeth. The worst thing is the grinder on the toe nails. That be a Dremel with sanding band. It tickles and never get the quick. Harrrr, that is most of the basic maintenance for all of us. Some dogs get more grooming then others. Mom use 5 or 6 different products on everybody at the dog show. It be a lot of grooming going on there. Each dog take 30-45 minutes to get ready for the ring. Harrrrrrrr Yer Cap'n Mav loved his time showing.

Lisa the Mean has been doing some Treasure hunting on the Web she has gone to the Volvo site and there is a POTC treasure hunt. She has been doing all the puzzles she wants the car and the Gold Deblumes harrrrr. when she goes to the puzzles they give clues and she has to go find cordentes it is very chalinging. When the puzzles start there are some movie trailers for POTC and comercals. The Cap'n be very excited about the hole thing!!!!! Others can play too they can go to the Volvo site find the rules and play the game.

Your Cap'n hear with news about POTC Stuff Lisa the Mean got a T shirt that had a skull and cross bones on it with the words NEVER TRUST A PIRATE on it it be so cool Harrrrr. Cap'n Jack Sparrow said that in the movie Harrrr. Then they went back to the store and they got the POTC Music CD it is great it is all the songs they played in the movie Harrrrr.
On other Pirate news the power went out yesterday for 2 hours so we got to play pioneer pirates we lit candles and wound up the radio which plays one song and it stops then they wind it up again Harrrr. It be so much fun.

Wow, FuFu. the Cap'n be so impressed with the package. He sniff it all over. Harrr in the package be the Merlion Cap'n Mav named him Riptide. Thar be a letter from FuFu, a bandana, pirate stickers, a button, and a pirate bracelet for Lisa the Mean. The Cap'n be so impressed with this package of loot from FuFu.
