The Meg supposedly became extinct 1.5 million years ago Harrrrrr. But nobody know fer sure, Mateys. It be fifty feet or longer in length of its body harrrrrr.

This be a fossilized Meg tooth Harrrrr. Look how big it be mateys Harrrrr. Ye can find teeth like these around Florida. Don't go barefooting, Harrrrrr.

Yer Cap'n found out that one of his favorate pitch men, Billy Mays, died Harrrrrr. But ye mateys know what that means there is a job opening Harrrrrr. Yer Cap'n be practicing very hard on these Harrrrr.

Do yer Pirate sails need cleaning Harrrrr.

Yesterday was nasty outside with rain and wind Harrrr. So Mom worked on Davy Jones Locker room Harrrr.

Do you see something new in the tank Harrrr??? We have a new light and a background Harrrr. But there is something even better then that Harrrrr. Can ye mateys find it?

No it not on that side Harrrrr.

That is it mateys Harrrrrrr.

It be a pirate treasure cave Harrrrrr. It has lots of bubbles come out of the well by the skull Harrr. It be so neat Harrrrr. The treasure in the cave even sparkles Harrrrr.

Cap'n Mavericks School of Piracy : spy glass lesson

Harrrrrr Mateys

Today fer Cap'n Mavericks School of Piracy yer Cap'n be making a spy glass Harrrrr. Yer Cap'n wants ye mateys to make one also Harrrr. I have step by step instructions Harrrrrr.

First ye need scissors, paper, tape, pen, marker, aluminum foil, paper towel tubes, and plastic cling wrap Harrrr.

On the piece of paper trace a circle around one of yer tubes Harrrr. then make a bigger circle around it Harrrrr. then in the corners draw 4 triangles Harrrr. then cut out the big circle and triangles Harrrr.

It should look like this Harrrrr. Then put a hole in the middle of it Harrrr. this will be yer eye piece Harrrr.

Then at the end of the tube put the eye piece on Harrrrr. fold up the 4 big piece around the tube and tape them up Harrrrr. It should look like this Harrrr.

Then take two paper towel tubes and put one inside the other Harrrr.

(make sure not to push them all the way Harrrr)

Put them together like Lisa the Mean is doing in this step. Put the plastic wrap on the other end and tape it in place. This be yer lens. Harrr.

Write yer name and decorate yer Spy glass Harrrrr.

Here be the Cap'n spy glass almost finished. Harrrrr.

Now ye mateys are ready for an adventure Harrrr.

The spy glass is light weight and easy to carry Harrrrr. Ye mateys can push it together and make it smaller too, just not all the way.

The tree branch that striks back

This weekend dad was cutting down some branches off of yer Cap'n favorite pear tree Harrrrrr. He was chucking the branches in his truck then yer Cap'n hear crack followed by lots of HBO words Harrrr. Yer Cap'n noticed something was wrong with the back window of the truck Harr.
