New Kennles

Saturday Mom and Lisa started doing sumthin at the back of the house where there be three Kennles already with CB and Carmen and Juarez And the huge puppy pen.Your Cap'n was so intent on finding out what was going on he could hardly stand it. They started moving blocks and putting them in lines on the grass.That is what Silver reported to me when she was running with Preston. Then your Cap'n was let out to run with Gloria and I quickly went over to where they where and supervised what they be doing. So the Cap'n helped build a big thing. Mom and Lisa the Mean where moving big panles saying they where hevy Harrrrr. Then with the help of Maverick they got the job done. They built 2 skinny runs and they built 1 big run where the puppy goes your Cap'n measerd the run compared to the Good Ship Mavericks run and it was bigger then Mavericks Run. The puppy dosent need all that space your Cap'n tried and tried to trade him runs but he is not going for it. Harrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! the capn has to think of somthin he can't refuse.

Your Cap'n be blogging harrrrr. All week the talking box say it was supposed to snow today and last night. Harrrr but NO. Harrrr. Thar be no snow when the Cap'n woke up and there be no Snow now. Hey Pirates

It be me, Swedish Selena the Viking Pirate. I am on Mavericks blog to tell you that I am mad at Maverick!!!! He told me that I would see an Armadillo in Texas!! I went to Texas with my eyes peeled for one and I did not see one. Selena is very disappointed, he said I didn't see da amradillo because it was snowing and they were in their hidey holes. I don't believe him. Yes it snowed in Texas that was wonderful. Selena did saw oil grass hoppers. They go up and down, they where very cool. Also on the trip we saw mesas and RED DIRT that stains your coat. We had to be very careful where we walked to keep white feet. Selena showed very nice and won Reserve Lisa the Mean was happy about that. We also stayed at a freinds house and had so much fun. I still wanted to see an Armadillo. Cap'n Maverick let me down.

It be spring and ye know what hapens when spring comes Mateys. Every thing warm up and cold blooded animals called Jump Back Jack come out to get warm. Harrrrr Some Jump Back Jacks be deadly if they bite. When a Matey walks outside he need to watch his step. Ye don't want to step on one, ouch me paw!!! Humans call Jump Back Jacks "snakes" but we call em Jump Back Jack cause that be what we do when we see one. We already spy two Jump Back Jacks this year.

Yesterday Lisa the Mean was helping dad work on the van Harrrr. When Lisa came in she had greasy hands and quickly scrubbed them so they were clean again. Harrrrr, when Lisa the mean said my hands are greasy, mom said gross and then she said Lisa's hands where gressy and grimy then Lisa the Mean came back with the word Gopher Guts harrrr. If that wasnt weird enough then they started singing Greesy Grimy Gopher Guts Marinated Monky Meat Heres a Spoon to Eat The Treat. Yer Cap'n was so groosed out by this whole rhyme and then Lisa sang it all day long Harrrrr Harrrr and double Harrrrrr!

Cap'n Maverick be asked many times how he come to be a pirate. Harrr. Well I be here to tell ye mateys about a special day, Harrrrr, when yer Cap'n realized he be a Pirate. It be three years ago next weekend when your Cap'n be at a show in Dubuque Iowa. Lisa be showing the Cap'n in the Jr ring. Harrr Mateys, the floor there be bouncy panels over the ice of a hockey rink with duct tape on them. Harrrr. We did our down and back and around, then Lisa the Mean stopped me and said does X mark the spot Maverick? Harrrr, it be because there be a duct tape X on the ground. Yer Cap'n had an epiphany Mateys. It be so cool yer Cap'n knew he was a true pirate at that moment. This week Sweetish Selena the Viking pirate is going to that show I wish her good luck. May she also find the X.

Preston and the rally treasure map

Harrrr mateys, here be the poop on Rally.

Mom take Preston to the show and checked in. Mom got treasure map and went over all the steps. Harrrr, she made Preston do them a lot too mateys. There were 16 steps to the map. When Preston be in the ring, he was supposed to do the steps with mom. Harrr, how easy is that Mateys. Then Preston get treasure at the end after doing the steps. Well, Mateys Preston did not do any of the steps even with Mom trying to get him to, so no treasure for Preston. Harrr, even Cap'n Mav be thinkin bout trying this Rally thing, get the map and then the treasure.

Cap'n Maverick posting finally, Harrrrr. When Stella the Sea Wench be here, she and the Cap'n started to make secret plans for a pillagin party. We did not get them finished before she leave. We still be workin on it Maties. The Cap'n will be letting all you pirates in on it later.

Fer other news, Swedish Selena went on a pillaging expedition of her own and got loose in the show ring. She tried to recruit new pirates but was unsuccessful. She did succeed in making a fool of Lisa the Mean. Tubey's human was at the show and saw it first hand Mateys.

Harrr Mateys, wow, everybody run, not walk, to your local Target store. In the dollar section they have Pirates of the Caribbean stuff. harrr, the Cap'n was wantin it all. Little tote bags for booty, note pads for pirate secrets, a lanyard to carry the keys to the treasure chest and more. Harrr, it was extra special I tell ye. I may take a cruise there this weekend while Mom and Lisa are off at the dog show.

Harr, and speakin of dog show. Sea Wench Stella be visiting the Cap'n right now. That be right, Stella be here right now. She going to the show but the Cap'n has heard she will be meeting up with Turbo and his human. Oh the Cap'n is jealous. He meet Turbo and his human long long ago in Moberly when Turbo be just a little tyke. Harrrr, and be on yer way to Target.

Harrr Maties, check out this great T-shirt. Mom and Lisa go shopping and find it at Hot Topic. So they buy it. Harrrr. Lisa say it for her but the Cap'n contrivin a way to get his paws on it. Harrr Mateys, here be the news from the Oklahoma City Specialty on Saturday 2/24. Yup the Cap'n is a little slow but the reason be I enjoying that dab of snow and, well Digger Gloria is coming in season and even though the Cap'n bein snipped, he still be interested. And she be kenneled right next door. Arrrrrwwwwwwwooooooooo.

OK, here be the news on Swedish Selena, the Viking Pirate. In the sweepstakes, she got 2nd place and won a glass cup with an etched siberian on it. Lisa be quick about putting the cup on a shelf too Mateys. Now for the big news, in the 9-12 month puppy class Selena be #1. She win her class Mateys. This be huge news. Selena be having some problems "getting it" B4 but now she "got it". She win a towel with embroider on it. She be pretty fancy too Mateys. Maybe we be getting pictures in a day or two.

New Pirate Name for Gloria

Harrr Mateys. Yer Cap'n be out playing with Gloria today and, wow, I gotta tell yer, what a good digger she be. Gloria find a weak spot by the fence and just went to diggin'. The Cap'n be wonderin if she digging for treasure, harrr. The mud and dirt be flying out behind her like nothin the Cap'n ever seen before, harrr. That be some great diggin. Lisa came out and made her stop, then later after she cleaned our kennel runs put the whole bucket of poop in the hole. Harrr, methinks Gloria not be digging there any more. Mate Gloria be such a great digger, how bout we call her Diggin Gloria.

It B Mardi Gras Mateys

Harrrrr Mateys, Cap'n Mav knows he be MIA from the blog action for a week or so. Guess where he be? I be tellin ya now so ye better listen up. While the rest of the pack be up in the frozen north for a stupid dog show, the Cap'n fired up his pirate ship and sailed down the Missississippiippssii River to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. That be right, the Cap'n went to Mardi Gras. He would still be thar but had to high tail it home before he got caught. Here be a photo of the Cap'n with his Mardi Gras bead booty. There be a lot more where these came from Mateys. All there for the takin. This be Fat Tuesday, the last day of Mardi Gras so make sure and party hearty like a pirate now Mateys.
