Yer Cap'n be looking for a shark to honor the SKS. There not be many sharks that fit this bill but yer Cap'n find this shark Harrrrr. It be the False Cat Shark. No disrespect to me honored mateys of the SKS but this be the dumbest shark yer Cap'n ever found Harrrr. The False Cat Shark also be know as the Dumb Shark Harrrrrr.

Now fur the facts. This be a rare shark. He lives fairly deep, from 600 to 4,800 feet Harrrr. He eats lobster, crabs, octopus, squid, and small fish Harrrr. If ye go fishing for them, ye won't get any money from them unless you catch several and take them to a university that wants to study them. These sharks have no economic value, lousy bottom feeders.

This Shark is too dumb to have a Danger rating because of its bottom dwelling habits and lack of proximity to man, cat or Siberian Husky Pirate. Harrrrr.

So there ye have the False Cat Fish Harrrrr.

It be Fish Day Wednesday Harrrrrr. Today Yer Cap'n decided to do the shark that has been int the movies and are in Cape Cod right now Harrrrrr.

The Great White Shark also known as White, White-Death, Killer, Man Eater, White-pointer, Blue-pointer Shark, and Jaws Harrrr.

This be a picture of Jaws Harrrrr look at the teeth Harrrrr.

Look how big this guy is Harrrrr. He can jump very high with large amounts of force Harrrrr.

This be a close up of the Great Whites Jaws Harrrrr. He also has a very big nose in yer Cap'n opinion Harrrrr.

Now for lots of facts about this big shark Harrrrrr. Great White Sharks range in size from 16 feet to 25 feet Harrrr that is big Harrr. It would appear that a full grown average adult will be over 4 to 5 tons Harrrrrr. If ye think of that it is weighs more that a semi truck would weigh Harrrrr.

This is a cool fact also on April 21, 1959 Alfred Dean of Australia caught a 16' 10" great white with a rod and real it is estimated to weight 2,664 lbs and had a girth of 114" Harrrrrr. Way to go Alfred Harrrrr.

Great Whites do not have nictitating membrane like a lot of the other shark species when they got attack the eye rolls back in the head and a membrane covers the eye Harrrr. If you find yer slevs face to face with these sharks go for the eye that is there week point Harrrrr and good luck Harrrr.

Now for the Danger Rating Harrrrr.

The Shark-O-Pedia tells Yer Cap'n in big bold letters Extremely Dangerous Harrrr. It be an unusual aggressive species Harrr. It has great power and deadly predictability. It be aggressive with a Nature killer instinct it has a deliberate purpose for caring out death and destruction Harrrrr. It does not circle its pray but it just comes in a strait line and attacks Harrrrr. If you are in an aria that has had some sightings of Great Whites like Cape Cod stay out of the water or make sure you are in a big boat Harrrrr. The movie Jaws was based on actual accounts of these great white shark attacks not all Hollywood fiction mateys Harrrrr.

Yer Cap'n thought after all of that he would share some videos with ye mateys one is real footage of the strength a great white yes both of the men in the cage lived Harrrr.

Thursday night yer Cap'n had an intruder tried to sneak on to The Good Ship Mavericks Run Harrr. When yer Cap'n be sleeping Harrrrrr. Yer Cap'n awoke to the intruder Harrrrr. Then yer Cap'n bravely fought off the intruder Harrrrr. It was not going to steal any of me loot mateys Harrrr. He tried to play possum but yer Cap'n knew better Harrrrr. Then come morning and time for breakfast Mom came out to feed me and found the intruder and threw it in the trash can brig Harrrrrr. It will not try to come on me ship again Harrrrr.

There be been 5 confirmed sighting of some huge Great White Sharks Harrrrrrr!!!!!!!! These be man (and dog) eaters mateys. One be seen within 17 feet of the shore. That be closer than the stern to bow of the Good Ship Mavericks Run, Mateys.

This morning yer Cap'n wake up with a sweet tooth, harrr. So Yer Cap'n decided to do the Cookie Cutter Shark Harrrrr

Yer Cap'n think it should look like this ...maybe mom can make ye cookies shaped as shark Harrrr.

This be a real cookie cutter Mateys. How fun to have shark cookie that we can bite, Harrrrr.

But Mateys the real cookie cutter shark look like this Harrrrrr. Not very cute at all Harrrrrr. Look at the nasty big teeth it has Harrrrr.

Now for the Cookie Cutter Shark facts Harrrrrr. The body is shaped like a cigar Harrrrr. It is about two feet long Harrrrrr. The Danger rating of the Cookie Cutter Shark be zero as it poses no threat to us because of its deep water habits and its small size Harrrrrr. This ugly shark only be 2 feet long at the max, harrrrdly worth mentioning. Plus he stay in very deep water where no pirate would go.

This be a Sandbar shark Harrrrrr.

The Sandbar shark is various shades of grey and the underside is white. It has not inplicated in any fatal attacks on man but care should be taken in dirty or murky water Harrrr.

This shark can sometimes confused with the Galapagos Shark Harrrrr.

Today we are going to talk about a small shark Harrrrrrr. It be the Spiny Dogfish Shark Harrrrrr.

It have the word dog fish in it Harrrrrrr.

The average size is 3 feet Harrrrrrr. The danger rating of the spiny dog fish they are mostly harmless Harrrr. If ye scare the spiny dog fish It could curl up and spring it self at its you and the spines on the spiny dog fish have a week poison that can make you stay in bed for 2 to 3 days Harrrrrr. So stay away from Spiny Dog Fish Sharks Harrrr.

There be two different kinds of Hammerhead sharks Harrrrrr. The Scalloped Hammerheads and the Great Hammerheads Harrrrr.

Here be a picture of the Scalloped Hammerhead Shark Harrrrr. How ye Mateys can tell it be a Scalloped shark is the head Harrrr. He have a flattened laterally expanded head. Its leading edge is convex with four distinct lobes the two central lobes produce an indentation in the center of the midline Harrrrrrr. Yer Cap'n be talkin scientific here Mateys.

There be several attacks on humans by Scalloped Hammerheads Harrrrr. That makes them very dangerous Harrr.
